Hi, Im Krissie.

I came 3rd in Miss London, this was my talent. To be honest, i didn’t have a talent. I don’t sing, dance or even mime. I know, miming is one of the easiest things I guess, my problem is i like melancholy grunge, or psychedelic rock and dance music… Nothing i could mime to. I guess I could do the Yea Yea Yeahs, Despair, or Carter USM and  The Impossible Dream. or even I did it My Way (sex pistols) … but i thought id save the judges from my taste in music and i wrote a poem instead.

This Poem to me represents a very very small aspect of my life and struggle.  I thought how could i put my whole life into a five minute story… and this is what i came up with.

—————————————————————————————————————————————

This is my first poem, its more like a story.

My life, in all its glory.IMG_0298 [13938]

I must be due a little luck, i don’t ask for much, but, being me used to really suck.

See,….

I grew up under the social services care.

There is really no need to feel sad.

If anything, it made me debonair.

I swear growing up i never wanted to be a billionaire,

I just wished people wouldn’t stare.

I felt weak and awkward, uncomfortable in my own reflection.13567439_294138040934523_4818503733717603704_n

My life was so full of imperfection.

I felt like a bomb, ready for detonation.

I needed a new location, i wanted to blow this dam-nation.

I had a fascination, with a girl called Dana International.

She was the latest sensation.

Could she be my salvation?

Will she help me to begin my transformation?

I set of to find her, this I never did, but it did not matter. I was in Tel Aviv!!

I had found my mission, I felt safe here,  I was going to begin my transition.

I found a gender clinician, paid her commission and spoke with a physician,Karen Mathison Photography (104)

Hurray, at last i was doing the big transition !!

Life was great, i was the centre of attention, but there is one thing, i forgot to mention.

My three month tourist visa, ops.

I forget to get a extension . (Six years later)  I was caught, and ended up in detention.

My plans had been thwarted, looks like I’m being deported.

Manchester

The place i ran away from,

I was broken, but the girl in me had be awoken.

Id lost my network and my transition, but i still had my ambition.

Nobody knew, not even a suspicion, it was just too much, so off i went to find a new physician.

I got a referral,  to charring cross, once again, i felt boss!

I waited and waited, and self medicated.

In this time, I met a girl, she was lovely i felt so dedicated.

This defiantly wasn’t a fad, because she told me I was going to be a dad!!

I didn’t feel sad, my 2nd transition was bad.

After all I was to become a dad!

I thought id found a cure, how ever, I now know, i was totally mad!

We had, two little beauty’s, and i promise to always full fill my duties. .

To Becky, (The ex)

I didn’t mean to lie, and I’m sorry i made you cry.

I hope you know?  I will always love you until I die.Karen Mathison Photography (179)

I couldn’t handle it as a male, and I’m sorry, i let things go so stale,

It made me ill, i mean really ill. I was so confused, I didn’t mean to worry anyone,

I felt abused, like i said my brain was confused.

But don’t worry.

It was just a rebirth, a resurrection almost a celebration of my life on earth.12717321_1667637990171793_1924324944051091519_n

I am truly happy now ,even though, i know i can be a bit of a cow,

My third transition is going so perfectly, everyone has been like “wow”.

Life is great,  I have finally accepted my fate,  i truly feel so elate.

Here I stand at Miss Transsexual  UK 2016, and believe me,

i am so proud to be seen.

Remember, never, never, never give up on that dream.

Once again, Life is great

Love

Krissie K x

To read this poem was a really big challenge for me, as i grew up with a speech impediment and it especially shows when i am nervous. I did it, I read it all, I was sick before hand with nerves, I had to take a anti sickness tablet to help me. But I did it,it felt amazing. Reading my own words and people actually listening. And then applauding me for my efforts. It felt great, and i loved every second of it.

I hope you enjoyed reading it, as much as i enjoyed writing and performing it.

All my love and all my best regards.66540301-Karen+Mathison+Photography+%28153%29

Evening, and an evening it is for myself personally.

Eleven days to the final in Leeds, at the Marriott Hotel. Excited is an understatement in all honesty. Not only will I be meeting up with some very good friends, most of us will be experiencing Leeds First Friday for the first time. A huge Trans night held every first Friday of the month. It could get messy. Anyone who sees us in and around Leeds, don’t be shy. Mine’s a large vodka!!

Another great reason to hold the final that weekend is, it’s Leeds pride also. Another city, another spectacle. And more vodka. Did I mention I have a taste for vodka? Anyway, if there is one place to visit the weekend of 4th August, (Weekend’s start on Thursdays where I come from…), then it’s Leeds.

So, for me personally, I am more than ready for the final itself. My talent section is just about fine tuned, all my outfits are prepared, just a case of hair, nails and brows.

For now, just a small slice of my mind before bed. If you’d like to vote for me Michaela James please go to our website www.misstransgenderuk.com

Peace, love & happiness,

Kayla. xff

Hey all!

MAC

I did another post on my blog about Caitlyn Jenner unfortunately I didn’t think at this time it was not right to post it on here at the moment but I would like to know what the Trans* community really think of Caitlyn Jenner partnering with MAC Cosmetics? I know many was angry last time due the “Man in a dress”  comments, and looking to see if this has change minds?

Finally Free

MAC has stated that 100% of the money will go to “MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative” but does this mean that we will buy it. The lipstick is called “Finally Free”

I’m still ish with her and always have been from the start and something at the back of my mind is looking at the timing of the exclusive Dianne Sawyer interview then the exclusive Vanity Fair, I also said there will be a TV series and her own line of products which has now come true, I kind of feel she has commercialized being trans but hey this is my opinion and not stating facts. But seriously why the exclusives?

Brae 2 Gigi Gorgeous Laverne Cox

These are the people I look to. Top: Brae Carnes (Youtube and activist for Canada bathroom ban) Middle: Gigi Gorgeous (Youtube star but probs the less of the three) Bottom: Laverne Cox

I also managed to get a an interview online with Brae for my blog which I am still honored about.

I wanted to post this just less than a week ago but I’ve been extremely busy and tired, and I’m a week behind on all posts and things I want to write about on here and my my blog.

Do any of you have anyone that is an inspiration/role modal to you? I would love to hear and learn about others in the Trans* Community, I know there are more and some I haven’t mentioned.

Thanks for reading

please follow the links to see our pagent applicants follow there dream last year

Across Britain transgender women are competing in a pageant with a difference. Over 40 women will battle it out to be crowned the UK’s first Miss Transgender. But they’re not just fighting for first place, they’re battling to be accepted as the women they were born to be. Fed up of living in the shadows and determined to take centre stage, we follow three contestants on their extraordinary personal journeys, exploring what it’s really like to be young and transgender in Britain today.

22-year-old Jai has been living as a woman for just two months and of all the contestants is at the earliest stage of her transition. Jai’s determined to win, but she’s worried because she’s up against girls with feminine figures, while she still has to rely on stuffing her bra and shaving to keep her five o’clock shadow in check. For Jai entering the competition is a step towards being recognised as the woman she’s struggled to become.Courtney has been working on-and-off as an escort and web-cam girl since she was a teenager, but she wants to leave that life behind. Despite the stigma, she wants to use the competition to speak out about how young trans women can get trapped in the sex industry.28-year-old Fay from Newcastle is one of only a handful of post-op contestants in the competition. She wants to use the £5000 prize money to help fulfil her lifelong dream of becoming a Mum. Fay had her sperm frozen before transitioning and winning the money would help kick-start her fund for a surrogate.

My Journey from April 1st 2014 – recent 2016

I’m Sarah, 26, From Greater Manchester. I have only just realised about who I am and what gender I am.  In April I found out about being Bi-Gender and at that time I was new to how I felt as for most of my life I’ve locked away my feelings and according to my mother I’m a “heartless B******d.”

I was lucky enough to find a site called Bigender.net where I quickly discovered more about myself and met new people that was like me. Since then I’ve changed so much and so quickly to where I’m confident and was open to people to about who I was at that time. In October 2014 I started my own blog up where I would write about my experiences that I went through and also for people to follow my journey. I created it to help people to understand more about gender and for those who was at a similar stage that I was at or just coming to terms about themselves.  I also  have come to love fashion and makeup which I also post stuff on there as well and some times will discuss about what’s happening in the Trans* community… Please don’t get me started on Caitlyn  Jenner, I respect her to a point but I never really liked her when she first came out on the Diane Sawyer, and have never jumped on that band wagon.

It’s only recently that I’ve started to feel more uncomfortable being male and decided that I’m more happier as female and have decided for me to live a full happy life is to transition to female full time, which I’ve only just seen my doctor about and waiting him to call me about whats going to happen, and will post updates on here and on my blog as I transition.

It’s a great honour to have been asked to write on MTUK and I’m excited to get that chance and share my story and talk to new people. I will be posting  more soon

Thank you

Love

Sarah

New Winner of Miss Transgender UK 2015
Miss Transgender UK is pleased to announce that Miss Daisy Bell will shortly be crowned winner of Miss Transgender UK 2015 and will receive the donation of free feminisation medical treatment from OLMEC Transgender Surgery Institute, Delhi, India together with a modelling contract and a range of prizes.
Miss Daisy Bell said “I am very pleased to be the winner of the prestigious Miss Transgender UK pageant. Prior to this competition I have been crowned winner of a series of other local pageants in London: MISS EXILIO LONDON, MS ALTERNATIVE LONDON, MISS TS INTERNATIONAL AS RUNNER UP.
Life is full of challenges and opportunities. I have embraced these in my life. I have learned to be a positive person and be strong to fight the struggles I have encountered in life. As I entered this world of transgender, it was my decision to pursue the pathway of being a woman and achieve my goal to be part of the history.”
The crowning of Miss Daisy Bell follows the disqualification of Miss Jai Latto who was originally crowned the winner in September 2015.
Any person identifying themselves as a transgender woman was eligible to participate in Miss Transgender UK 2015 on the understanding that they lived full time in their chosen gender. Finalists were also only eligible to be considered for receipt of the donation of medical treatment for gender confirmation or feminisation surgery if they provided their informed consent and could show they suffered from gender dysphoria.
Miss Latto gave many verbal assurances to the organiser and other participants that she was living full time as a woman. This proved not to be the case, accordingly the terms and conditions of the pageant were broken.
Subsequent to Miss Latto being crowned a number of finalists complained that she did not meet the eligibility criteria for the pageant and an investigation was undertaken into allegations that:-
• she was not living full time as claimed
• she was a professional drag queen
• she was bringing the good name of Miss Transgender UK into disrupt by advertising as a gay man on ‘Grinder’
• she had not provided her ‘informed consent’ to be eligible for the donation of medical treatment in advance of the final being conducted
• she could not or would not provide supporting documentation that she was suffering from gender dysphoria
The complaints against Miss Latto were upheld. She was then notified that she would be disqualified. An appeal was conducted on behalf of Miss Latto. She was given four months to explain and refute the allegations made against her but she declined to provide any evidence countering what was found out about her entry. She voluntarily declined the donation of medical treatment for gender dysphoria before she was dethroned.
