A transgender beauty queen hopeful has told how she was attacked outside a pizza takeaway by a man who wasn’t aware of her gender.

Tiffany-Rose Davies said she was pushed and spat on in the attack outside Caspian Pizza, on Smallbrook Queensway, Birmingham.
It was so upsetting and humiliating. To be attacked in this way because I am a transsexual is just horrible but unfortunately something I have to deal with.”

The 23 year-old reported the attack to West Midlands Police who investigated the incident. They have examined studied CCTV footage recorded at the time of the incident on April 30 at 6pm, but the footage doesn’t show Tiffany-Rose being assaulted.

Tiffany-Rose is planning to take part in Miss Transgender England and on 22 August will compete at the Birmingham rounds at the The Penthouse at The Loft Lounge in Bromsgrove Street in Birmingham City Centre.

The winner of the grand final will scoop £5,000.
